Monica is an experienced legal leader for entrepreneurial companies in high growth and expansion markets, and specializes in intellectual property, data protection, privacy and licensing matters. She is currently the CLO of Globiana Inc. which provides relocation support services on its proprietary cloud platform for companies and their internationally relocated employees. Monica is also concurrently the GC of Creatubbles PTE LTD. which provides a safe, global social network for teachers, children, and parents, focused on artwork and creativity. Monica also serves as a consultant to high tech, CPG and biotech companies on IP matters, licensing, patent monetization, partnership and joint development arrangements, and cross-border matters to Europe and Asia.
Previously, Monica was EVP/GC of Article One Partners, a global crowdsourcing company specializing in the discovery and use of prior art in strategic patent litigation, licensing and prosecution matters. Monica also worked with The Clorox Company where she was Director of IP litigation, functioned as lead counsel for the three of the company’s largest business units and served on the M&A, compliance, social media, and transactions teams. Earlier in her legal career, Monica was an IP attorney with firms in Los Angeles and Atlanta. Before attending law school, Monica worked as an engineer with Procter & Gamble and was the principle in an engineering consulting firm.
Monica is recognized as one of the world’s leading IP strategists in the IAM Strategy 300 and she serves as an advisor on IP, social media, privacy and data protection matters for several government organizations. She is a past Chair of the IP Committee for the Association of Corporate Counsel and a member of various Silicon Valley/San Francisco Bay area and national professional and philanthropic organizations, including currently serving as a board member and Secretary for the East Bay SPCA.
Monica is a member of the California and Georgia Bars and is a USPTO registered patent attorney. She holds a JD from Tulane Law School and a BS in Chemical Engineering and a BS in Pulp and Paper Technology from North Carolina State University. Monica is an avid sports fan, an aspiring pilot, soccer coach and outdoor enthusiast. She lives in the Bay area with her three children and a menagerie of pets.
Jeff Quick counsels public and private companies in all aspects of their business, including formation documents, day-to-day matters, commercial agreements, compliance and reporting obligations under securities laws and stock exchange rules, and general corporate governance matters.
Jeff’s expertise runs the gamut of corporate finance and acquisition transactions. He has represented issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings, secondary offerings and debt offerings and issuers, investors, and placement agents in private placements. He also represents clients in all aspects of acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, leveraged buyouts, going-private transactions and joint ventures.
Jeff received his law degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1997 and his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, in accounting at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1993.
Michelle Jun is Of Counsel to Centric Legal. She focuses on designing custom privacy programs to help clients set up information privacy and data security processes and policies.
For over a decade, as Senior Attorney at Consumers Union, she led the Payments Project, creating regulatory and marketplace consumer protection policies. She worked closely with federal and state policymakers, financial services executives, industry advocates and individual consumers. She has been consulted by national media outlets such as NPR, NYT, and USA Today, and has spoken at the FTC, the Federal Reserve Board, the National Association of Attorneys General, the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and the American Bar Association.
Ms. Jun obtained her J.D. from the University of San Francisco, and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Josie is a graduate of the University of Utah SJ Quinney College of Law, where she focused her studies heavily in the areas of securities law, corporate law, private equity and commercial real estate transactions. She has a collective 4 years experience working on the investor side of venture capital, specifically in relation to deal flow screening, assisting portfolio companies in corporate formation and risk management, post-investment management, and fund structuring and organization. She worked during law school as an Associate with the University Growth Fund, a student-run venture and growth stage fund with ~$50m under management. Following, she worked with AngelList syndicating deals and doing securities compliance. Since moving to Colorado, she has been heavily involved in the Colorado startup community, co-organizing, hosting and teaching workshops at Rockies Venture Club as well as other programs such as Denver and Boulder Startup Week, Techstars, Boomtown Accelerator, and Startup Fuse. Since coming on as an Of Counsel attorney at Centric, Josie has been working primarily for an international software company focusing on compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
